We deliver to all UK Mainland addresses. Your billing and shipping address must be within these territories for us to process your order. If you have any questions, please contact our online client care team: firstname.lastname@example.org.
All standard UK orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Signed For delivery which will require a signature.
You will be sent an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched with tracking information. We will be unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. We currently do not ship to any location outside of the areas stated in our Delivery information section. You must have a delivery address in an area we ship to in order for us to process your order.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Standard delivery orders will mostly be delivered within 3-5 working days. However we aim to send all our orders out within 24hrs. For Highlands and Northern Ireland please allow 4-6 working days. During sale time, Christmas & Bank Holiday periods delivery may take longer.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY
We offer a next working day delivery service on all orders placed before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm will be counted as the following working day and processed accordingly.
For example next day orders placed on a Monday after the 2pm cut off time will be delivered on Wednesday. Next day orders placed on a Friday pre cut off time will be delivered on Monday.
DELIVERY ON BESPOKE/PERSONALISED ITEMS
For any bespoke product standard delivery times do not apply. Please see the delivery section for the relevant product to understand the delivery period that will apply.
Once an item has been manufactured and received by us we will inform you immediately. If at that point you decide that you require a special delivery service such as “Next Day” then that can be arranged at the appropriate additional cost, otherwise the delivery service selected at time or order will then apply.
The Yard insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have a specified recipient or different delivery address, then you accept that evidence of a signature is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by The Yard and transfer responsibility in the same way.
TAXES & DUTIES
UK VAT is applied to all VAT-applicable orders dispatched within the United Kingdom, the E.U. and Eire.
We are not responsible for any import duties & taxes that might be applied outside of the UK.
If a product is returned to us due to the non-payment of any duties & taxes, any associated costs incurred by The Yard will be deducted from your refund.
